TEHRAN -- Many would-be concertgoers have not been able to apply for tickets for Shajarian’s forthcoming performances in Tehran.

The organizers of the concerts planned to sell the tickets online only and the deadline for application was yesterday. Internet users have faced problems connecting to the official website of Delawaz, Shajarian’s cultural institute, which is responsible for selling tickets for the series of concerts. The deadline may be extended until July 25, one of the concert organizers told Mehr News Agency on Tuesday. In addition, it is expected that tickets will be sold at several centers in Tehran.
